Rick Vanasse

Rick brings over 30 years experience leading initiatives in organization design, culture transformation, and executive development and coaching.  He serves as the Account Manager to Bon Secours Health System and consults to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Assurant Inc. and Community Connections of Washington, DC.  Previous clients have included MedStar Health, Unilever Best Foods, International Paper, Standard Oil, Pitney Bowes, and Yale University Alumni Association.

Prior to joining SPRING Network, Rick served for eleven years as VP - Talent Management and Chief Learning Officer for Bon Secours Health System, a $3.5 billion healthcare provider with over 23,000 employees in the Eastern U.S.  Rick joined Bon Secours from Mercer Delta Consulting where he was a principal consultant in the areas of organization architecture and design.  Rick spent 17 years with Champion International Corporation where he held various executive positions in human resources, organization development and learning.  He began his career with Trinity Church, Wall Street, consulting to senior executives on ethics and corporate policy. 

Rick received his undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College and his graduate degree from Yale University.  A native New Englander, he now lives in suburban Maryland with his wife and youngest son.  His eldest daughter has graduated from college and is pursuing an acting career in Philadelphia.  His middle son is a freshman in college.
